Al-Mursalāt (Arabic: المرسلات, "The Emissaries", "Winds Sent Forth") is the 77th chapter (sura) of the Quran, with 50 verses. The chapter takes its name from the word Al-Mursalāt in the first verse. The subject is seen to provide evidence that it was revealed in the earliest period at Makkah.

Sura al-Mursalat emphasizes the happening of the day of judgement and repeatedly warns the deniers. This sura also mentions the actions and signs of wrongdoers and the god-wary and speaks about their destinies.

Whoever recites Sura al-Mursalat, God will make familiarity between him and the Prophet (s) on the Day of Judgement. In some hadith sources, some benefits are mentioned for this sura, such as security and safety in travels, victory over enemies and also relieving from stomachache.

English Translation And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink?
