Each state is limited to 4 wrestlers, per age group, weight class, and style (i.e. someone may qualify in Greco, but not freestyle). The top 4 placers at the State Tournament on May 11th in each age/weight/style will qualify for Fargo.

- Jordan Burroughs' legendary career will end this weekend at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials at Penn State. The 35-year-old New Jersey and U.S. legend announced he would retire at this year's Olympics - or at this weekend's Trials if he didn't make the team.

In short, with one major exception, the rules of Freestyle and Greco are almost identical. Both styles are very aggressive and focus of getting both wrestlers to their feet and to attack. In Greco Roman, a wrestler may not attack his opponent's legs, nor may he use his own legs to trip, lift or execute other moves.
